Connery Neuropsychology Services, Inc. is the neuropsychological testing clinic of Dr. Amy Connery, serving the Denver/Boulder area. Dr. Connery is a board certified pediatric neuropsychologist. She evaluates children with complex medical histories, such as brain tumors and cancers, brain injury, epilepsy, genetic disorders and children with a history of prematurity/low birth weight. She has a special interest and expertise in evaluating children with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, autism and other pervasive developmental disorders. Dr. Connery also has expertise evaluating children with a history of trauma or attachment disturbances. She is Spanish speaking and able to evaluate bilingual children.

Neuropsychological assessment is appropriate when caregivers have concerns about a child’s academic, social/emotional, daily living, behavioral or general developmental functioning. It is also appropriate when the child has a medical history or experiences a medical event with known neurocognitive consequences, such as being born premature or low birth weight, sustaining a head injury, cancers or other medical/genetic conditions which can cause disruptions in academic, behavioral, and emotional functioning.
